With ancestral ties to the Kingman area dating back to the 1800s, his deep-rooted heritage shapes his profound understanding and appreciation of the desert’s history and culture. Robert’s extensive local knowledge and lifelong experiences make him a valued member of the Kingman community, as he continues to honor his ancestors’ legacy while fostering a love for the desert landscape in future generations.
Brandon Dubuc, Adventure Guide at Desert Wonder Adventures, is an experienced adventurer and educator based in Northwest Arizona, known for his expertise in rappelling and passion for the outdoors. He regularly navigates the rugged terrain of Arizona, sharing his knowledge of rappelling techniques with both novice and experienced climbers. In addition to rappelling, Brandon enjoys kayaking and hiking, frequently exploring the region’s scenic trails. His deep connection to the landscape and dedication to outdoor education inspire others to embrace adventure sports and appreciate the natural beauty of Arizona.
As a Florida native, I spent my childhood riding the waves and developing a lifelong passion for the outdoors. For 28 memorable years, I called Nevada home, where I immersed myself in hunting, fishing, and camping, often accompanied by my children. These experiences not only deepened my love for adventure but also allowed me to pass on the thrill of outdoor exploration to the next generation. Now residing in Arizona for over a decade, my enthusiasm for the wild has not waned. I seize every opportunity to hit the trails, explore the rugged terrain on my 4-wheeler, and fish in the tranquil waters of the Southwest. From the moment we were picked up, until the moment we were dropped off, we were in the very capable hands of Michael! He was our personal tour guide, sharing stories and experiences that made our visit to Grand Canyon West extra special. The Singing Cowboy, at lunch, was so fun!

We took the horseback tour out of Kingman, AZ. Wow! The scenery was gorgeous! The two horseback guides (Jennifer and Cote I think), the driver (tvBob) to get us there and the singing cowboy (cowboy Dave) were all full of knowledge and gave us so much information on the history. Lunch was great! It was a spectacular ride and journey. I would do this again.
We recently took a tour to the Grand Canyon with Desert Wonder Tours. Brandon was our guide and he was absolutely amazing. He was so knowledgeable and pleasant. We would have missed out on so much information had my friends and I tried to do this on our own. I highly recommend this tour!
